Engine #2

Engine #2 is a 2009 Sutphen Class "A" Fire Pumper. It responds out of Main-Transit Fire Station No. 1, and features:
- an 8 firefighter cab
- self contained breathing apparatus (air packs) for each firefighter riding on the engine
- 1,500 gallon per minute top mount Hale pump,
- 750-gallon water tank,
- a 30-gallon foam tank filled with F-500 foam and
- an 8,000 watt Smart Power Pro generator powering six 750-watt flood lights.
With almost a half-mile of hose on board which includes 1,000 feet of 5-inch diameter supply hose and numerous pre-connected attack hose lines, Engine 2 is equipped to handle any firematic situation, utilizing a large array of tools including but not limited to:
- large exhaust ventilation fans
- electric cord reels
- hose couplings
- EMS equipment and a defibrillator
