Truck 6

Ladder Truck 6 is a 2003 American LaFrance/R.D. Murray/L.T.I. 100' mid mount aerial ladder truck. The air-conditioned cab holds 6 Firefighters and has 6 Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (air packs) for each responding Firefighter. Truck 6 has a pre-piped waterway that extends up the side of the ladder for use as a master water stream in cases of large fires. It also has pre-piped breathing air, mounted to the side of the ladder, for use by the ladder operator at the base of the aerial ladder, and for the Firefighter at the top of the ladder. Ladder 6 has over 150 feet of ground ladders, 4 high-powered smoke ejectors, and 2 WAP water vacuums for salvage operations. It also has a 15,000-watt AMPS generator, which power numerous high-powered lights, which give 360 degrees of lighting at scenes of emergencies. Ladder Truck 6 is housed at Fire Station No 1.
