
Engine 3

Engine 3 is a 2008 Sutphen Class "A" Fire Pumper featuring a 1,500 gallon per minute top mount Hale pump, 750-gallon water tank, a 30-gallon foam tank filled with F-500 foam and a 8,000 watt Smart Power Pro generator powering six 750-watt flood lights. Engine 3 has an 8 firefighter cab with self contained breathing apparatus (air packs) for each firefighter riding on the engine. With almost a half-mile of hose on board which includes 1,000 feet of 5-inch diameter supply hose and numerous pre-connected attack hose lines, Engine 3 is equipped to handle any firematic situation, utilizing a large array of tools including but not limited to: large exhaust ventilation fans, electric cord reels, hose couplings, EMS equipment and a defibrilator. Engine 3 responds out of Main-Transit Fire Station No. 2.
