B-Truck

Unlike most normal fire engines, which are a Class 'A', this vehicle adheres to strict rules and regulations set forth by the New York State Drill Team Captains Association to be classified as a 'B' class truck and compete in B-Hose, B-Ladder and Motor Pump. These requirements include weighing over 6000 pounds and carrying a fire pump, which must be powered by the truck to pump water in various events. Our current B-Truck was originally a 1970's tow truck obtained from Dadswells Towing and converted into its present form.
